Dear All,
I would like to ask for prayers for Moran and us for Monday 19th as we have to go to Burnie for ANOTHER EEG.
Some of you may remember us doing this about a month ago (The results for this were no Epilepsy signs) and what a truma this was for her.
Since she has had ANOTHER sizure the Pediatrician wants her to have a Sleep Deprivied EEG as her seizures only happen at night.
For the last seizure I did not panic and call the Ambo's but monitered her very closely during and after the seizure.
I am now sure she has had at least one more seizure as one night she had the after symptoms being that I observed.
The fact that she knows how hurting the pencil drawing and sandpaper rub will be on her head will be a HUGE thing to overcome with her.
As yet I haven't told her we are goiong on Monday I am waiting till tonight.
So please can you pray for all of us again. Of course we have to leave the others at home again. And Stephen has to go back on Monday afternoon. I am very thankful he is able to come with us though and hold Arwen as I cannot take Arwen in with Moran and me.
We have been going through the processs of visiting with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health people in regards to her anxiety. And we we have 2 apppointments to see the OT and they also want her to see a Physycologist and test her Cognitive abilities.
I have spent at least 6 hours on this already with the professionals, 2 of which Moran was involed in(of which she was not coping with really)and still are no further forward at all.
Frankly I am finding dealing with ALL 3 aspects very tiring and would appreciate prayers for me to know which way to deal with these isues.
Please pray that we follow the right direction....of which I am not sure we are, as we have spent ages analysing her with the Professionsals and have not progressed to what we can do to help her.
Any advise if you have any would be welcome.
I am so Sorry I only come for prayer requests, I would love to be involved with so much more on the forum but finding it hard to fit it all in.

Praying for you, your daughter, your family, and the medical professionals involved!  It sounds like quite an ordeal for you all. Praying these tests are of benefit in understanding her seizures.

Praying for your Moran, Gae, I know how hard this must be for you all. Asking Our Lady to guide the practioners caring for Moran and that answers are found.

Dear All,
Just a quick update as it is 1:30 am, Tuesday here.
Moran went so very, very well with the EEG yesterday.
I was so proud of her. I had preped her on Sunday after Mass and she seemed Ok with it.
I really do believe all your prayers helped us greatly. Thank you
The initial hard part was to get her to stay awake till 11pm on Sunday night.
She was about to fall asleep watching a DVD so I let her play on the computer with paint and on line colouring.
This is a huge treat for her as I only let her on the computer very rarely.
Then Stephen got her up at 4:20am on Monday morning, and she played on the computer again.
So she was very tired when 11:30 came around and she actually went to sleep during the EEG which was the whole idea. So we got a very good reading this time.
We wont get the results for another 2 weeks though.
I must say I did 'bribe' her with a trip to toyworld if she didn't fuss while the electrodes were being put on. So she enjoyed picking her reward afterwards.
Once again Thank you for your prayers.
If only we could get those same results for selling the House.

I'm so relieved to hear that this went well for her! My prayers continue as you seek some answers and discernment on how to proceed...and I haven't stopped asking St. Joseph to assist you with your house situation!
