Please pray for a friend back east, Patty. She has a very aggressive form of breast cancer - looks like it has spread while she's on chemo. Her biological children are now adults, but a few years ago she and her dh adopted 2 foster children. They are under the age of 12. Here's her request:


# I am asking the intercession of Blessed Zelie and Louie Martin for a miraculous cure. Zelie died of breast cancer when Therese was a little girl. I am also asking for a Eucharistic Miracle.

Oct. 5 - I just heard a few days ago that Patty is in hospice care, at home. The understanding is that she has weeks left.    Her youngest, Emily (7) is having a very difficult time. Please continue to pray.

Oct. 8 - Patty's journey home ended at 11:30 am ET today. Thank you all so much for your prayerful faithfulness to the Body of Christ. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her.

This is just so sad, Tami! My heart breaks for this family. I trust that Our dear sweet Lord would not ask so much if He weren't about to spill graces out abundantly on this dear family. I pray that they feel Him sustaining them through the carrying of this heavy cross!
