Yup...me too...fading that is.
I haven't been faithful, but I'm not down on myself! I know that I'll get there! I'm just going to try again tomorrow, and once I get started I'll just keep trying until I can make it a habit again!
Tomorrow is another day (she says in her best Scarlet O'Hara accent!)

Count me in..... I just got back from our trip and haven't t-tapped for almost 2 weeks. And I do not like how I feel physically. So I'm going to start again on Monday.

I'm still here. I managed to try the total workout today. It was different and fun! But I didn't drink enough water after and have a killer headache...have to remember that :) And if I don't get it done in the morning, its unlikely to happen. I fade fast in the evening :)

Yeah. I did try the dayI said I would, but the disc skipped, the computer froze, and well, it was hard enough just to put the disc in, let alone go through all that! So, I doubt I'll do it tomorrow (Sunday), but, well, Monday is another day, too

Jennifer, ...the fading is tough, isn't it?
Just when I thought I couldn't do it...I saw Trish's post in my email and it was just the nudge I needed to get it done yesterday. Thanks, Trish, and all the buddies here .
, Marie!
Lindsay, no Sundays for me right now so I'll see you on Monday. No more tech challenges, OK?
Love,

Did the basic plus and bobbled my way through almost all of the total workout. I finally got a good pair of shoes and it made huge difference! I'm a tad sore this afternoon.
My goal is to know and finish that total work out by the end of 2 weeks.

And I'll bet you've got a great one!
Would it be OK if I joined here for the motivation to keep up with my exercise program even if it's not T-Tap? I had been very good about getting up early every morning to exercise but then I got sick and that quickly wiped all my good habits away. Frequent email reminders have been helping with working on some emotional eating habits and I really think that frequent email reminders might help get me back into that better routine.

Absolutely! As long as you don't come here and share that you're running 10 miles a day or doing a cool two hour workout at the gym, you're in . Thanks for joining, Charlotte .
I ended up being short one workout last week...kept telling myself I would catch up the next day which eventually turned into Sunday. No more. For now, I will keep Sunday free of *needing* to do T-Tapp.
To make you ...my dd is gently reminding me that I need to leave the computer and do T-Tapp...but I keep typing...and typing...and typing...OK...here I go!
Have you reached your Monday goal?
Love,

Nope! That's for sure! Mostly, I am trying to do some sort of walking DVD at home (usually Leslie Sansone) or working with the Wii Fit we just got hubby for father's day. I will be more than happy to hold you accountable for doing your T-Tap if you hold me accountable for doing my exercise. I think a buddy system is a great way to stay motivated!

Phew! I'm sorta fragile about this formal exercise thing so y'all need to go easy on me .
How are you all doing on your Tuesday goals? Just morning/evening primary back stretches for me today . I may try to develop the habit of doing hoe-downs when my energy dips...
Love,

Creating an exercise habit for an energy boost is an awesome idea (instead of turning to caffeine or food)!
When I used to go to Curves, the "trainers" there would really stress how important it is to take a break between your more intense workouts. If you work hard one day then you need to do something simple the next day.
I kind of overdid it yesterday playing Wii with the kids so today, I am going to do some water exercises at the pool and that's it.

Good for you both! You're hanging in there!!
I managed to finish the total workout today. It wasn't pretty though. I surprised myself! But I feel good.

Neither is me in a swim suit!
Good for you for surprising yourself! A total workout is a big accomplishment!

Yesterday was "one of those" days, complete with the fire door lock to my garage breaking (holding my van hostage in the garage) requiring a locksmith (a very busy industry I learn) plus needing to pick up my other vehicle from the shop plus the usual heavy duties of Wednesday...well you get the drift! Yet...
I did T-Tapp, happy day!
How did you all do yesterday? I'm off today except for my morning and evening stretches. Hope you can squeeze some exercise in today .
Love,

Way to go! Those days are the hardest... the days you just want to veg out and forget the whole thing!
Since it was my birthday yesterday, I took the day off. Is that OK?
Today, we are going to the pool and I am not letting myself sit on the side and read. I am trying to spend the whole time in the pool playing with the kids and doing some simple water exercises. My goal for official exercise is to do a 30 minute walk this evening. Thanks for the reminder, Angie!

Okay to take birthdays off
Good job Angie getting that workout in!!
Yesterday I made it to the arm exercises in the total workout and then the power went out for 2 hours. By the time it came back on I just wasn't in the mood to finish.
But I got it in today! I had one of those 'I don't want to do this today' days too.
A walk sounds good. If my legs didn't feel like rubber I'd go for one too.

What is it with today? We went to the pool and I did what I said I would but I was the crabbiest, most irritable person the whole time. Oh well...maybe tomorrow will be easier.
Anybody have any mental pick-me-ups for when you've got that " but I don't WANT to" attitude dragging you down?

Happy Friday!!
So how are those workout goals coming?
There's a light tummy flu making it's rounds through our house so I wasn't feeling very tip top this morning. I did manage a basic plus workout though. I'm feeling alot better this afternoon but I have a boy who's not feeling too good.

I'm not sure if this is a mental pick me up or not but my take has been I've invested this much time so far and I've seen good results. But I have to stick with it to go further. I've got a long way to go and I have to push myself. I can't afford to be lazy. If a baby were to come along I wouldn't be in the best of shape and during my last pregnancy my family suffered because of my lack of physical strength. I just gotta get it done! I'm not getting any younger either. so it's going to be harder.

Motivation for the mundane has some good tips!
Right now I'm using this topic heavily to help me battle the "but I don't WANT to" feelings - to change these thoughts into "it's only 15 minutes"...sure, a dreaded 15 minutes but I'm not alone in my dread . I'm also giving myself the reward of replying here when I do it . I hope I'm not always so needy, that I'll get back to when I did T-Tapp without any motivational struggle. For now, I'm very happy for your support!
I'm off to T-Tapp!...see, that cheers me on! Praying that anyone struggling with motivational challenges will find relief soon.
Love,
