Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It's times such as these that God reveals how truly necessary and important our role as wife/mother is. It's an irreplaceable role, isn't it?

I've been in this position. Many, many continued prayers...

Elizabeth, we're praying for you, that precious little one, and of course the entire family. We're adding your intentions in a novena to St. Philomena...her remains lay hidden in the catacombs until 1802 and she is known for being truly "powerful with God" in countless miracles and graces attributed to her intercession. Surely a saint of the catacombs can understand the needs of a mother tethered to bedrest for the sake of her infant's life. From the tomb of Philomena..."Pax tecum Filumena"...Peace be to you, Philomena. May you find peace, solace and grace in all the prayers being lifted to heaven on behalf of your family!

So pleased to hear you are home safely again Elizabeth...we are continuing to pray every day for you, that baby will stay put, safe and sound in the weeks to come.   May God bless you and your dear family in a special way through all this suffering you are going through!

I'm so glad to read that you're home safely. After total bedrest with 3 of my 4, I think there must be a special place in heaven for the husbands that help keep us there!

praying for you & yours....

Prayer to both you and your beautiful baby!!! And as hard as it is PLEASE follow the doctor's orders! I've unfortunately have been in your shoes, but not quite as early.

I'm also praying for the rest of your family, that the Lord helps them through this too. It's sometimes hard for little ones (even when they're older) to see Mommy on bedrest.

Blessings to you all!
