How grace-filled his passing sounds, Anne. What a comfort to have the Sacraments available to him, and the priest to offer prayers right as he made his way from this life to the next.
I'm praying for the repose of your Uncle's soul, and for the comfort for all those that loved him.

Thank you everyone for your beautiful condolences and prayers, they are appreciated greatly and I had told Peter from time to time that all the girls in the States were praying for him - he loved it!
Well..we are going to miss him, I feel that so much, he was a rare man, loved by all those who knew him because he was such a man of LOVE himself and completely devoted to family...all I can say is we were blessed to have been given him and it is comforting his now working on getting us all up there one day.
His funeral is Monday, it will be such a big gathering of relatives from all over Australia, a big weekend of connecting with family.
