2nd UPDATE:

I have just been talking to Chemai from her hospital bed at the hospital.

Things are not good and very precarious.

They have not had the stitch put in and still are deliberating about it - there are many risks involved at this very late stage of having it done, the biggest risk is losing Augustine (she is having a boy, Augustine Gerard, they found out via ultrasound on St Augustine's feast) by precipating labour itself due to the stitch being put in at such a late date.

Chemai is very emotional naturally and at present complete rest is needed (if not in the hospital at Ronald McDonald House right near the hospital) to try to encourage baby to stay put for at least a few weeks more, God willing to 28 weeks but the chances are not too good, quite truthfully but with God's help anything is possible.

Prayers are greatly needed to prevent Augustine from arriving too soon. Certainly at every turn, they will be having a premature baby, it is just a case of when, so this will mean the many months stay in this city again.

Their lives will be on hold in all ways until Augustine is finally home with them, God willing, late this year, (his due date is around Christmas/New Year) prayers for this blessed outcome are so greatly needed.

Praying that Augustine does not come before he is able to have a good chance for life.

Chemai said to me, she cannot thank you enough for your tremendous support, it is lifting her up during this most painful and frightening time.
