Still praying Chemai. And I will definitely pray for the right doctor to be on duty when the time comes. I had a similar experience when I had a miscarriage. The local abortion doctor was the one who examined me to make sure I didn't need a d&c.  Thank God I didn't because he was the one who would have done it. Don't worry. The Blessed Mother will look after you.  Many prayers.

Hi all,
Dad here...I am overwhelmed by the response and the power of the prayer chain. It is one of the great powers of the internet that counterbalances the evil it is often used for. We have been in a simillar situation to this once before, but Chemai's calm and trust cannot ber attributed to the familiarity of her surroundings but only to all of your's and others prayers.
We are approaching the 26 week mark - which is further than the doctors expected of course. It is a long road ahead whichever way it goes.
Chemai asked me today to hop on the forum for her and thank you all for your love and support. It means a great deal to her in this difficult time. Ann printed up a few pages of the original posts on this thread for Chemai to read - there was hardly a dry eye. Ann, as you would all suspect, is the truest of friends and is one amongst many who are helping in a myriad of small practical ways.
For myself, I see this as the ongoing journey into the mystery of God's perfect will. All we can do is endeavour to deepen our surrender and our desire to conform to His will. It is sometimes only as we examine the context or the timing of difficult events in our lives that we glimpse some purpose. But of course we can find peace in the ultimate purpose which is our salvation that comes only through the cross of Jesus Christ.
On behalf of Chemai, Myself, Majella, Thomas, Bethany, Anthony, Benedict, Rosemary, Jonathan & Augustine I thank you all. We hope to have good news (and photos) for you all soon.

I am keeping you close in heart, Chemai. I can't wait to hear about and see Augustine (one of my most favorite saints in the entire world)---I am considering this wonderful name for my child, if a boy. (I am almost 12 weeks now! Yay! Still a pincushion....   )

Just on again to ask for prayers for Chemai, it is early evening over here and she feels she is experiencing very, very mild contractions - hoping and praying this will all settle but this is definately a concern as this is really the first experience of this. Her doctor said today that she should not be experiencing this, as she is on drug to relax her muscles.
