Nina, I am praying for you. I haven't been here long and I don't know your situation but can I just say that your sweetness shines through everything you post and I feel like you must be a beautiful longsuffering and holy woman. God is with you and you are an inspiration to me and I don't even know you -- isn't that crazy?

Getting through these past days has been more than possible as I am always bringing to my mind that you all are praying and it has brought me courage and hope. I know God will bring us relief in some form, as you are asking Him for me.
I am experiencing a profound exhaustion and as much as I try to push through, I still want to be resting. Actually (probably due to your prayers), I am resting now all by myself on my bed borrowing my son's computer! and am able to check up on my mail and sites....yea!---it's been a consolation to check in with the Forum and with you all.
Beautiful ladies---your prayers mean so much, and your words..... and your thinking of us!
Thank you to the rest who I haven't thanked since I last checked in--- dear Cay, Chari, Louise, Carole, Theresa, Nancy, Melinda, Gen, Stef, "Veronica's Veil" :), Willa, Stephanie, Dawn, Mary Theresa, Nancy, KC, Christine, Kelly, Marie, "Cici" Christine, Kristine...you all have made my last days and supported my family. I know my husband thanks you, too. He has not gotten his checks, but his mood has improved, which I can only attribute to grace. The kids are hanging on and their coughs are slowly abating. We're persevering.
Love to all of you, and returned prayers!!!

Oh dear....I am truly in the early stages of Alzheimer's.....you see, I don't have use of a computer anymore, so I have to "borrow" the laptops of the older two....sigh. I seem to always forget that they love this Forum too and are logged in!

Nina, you are a brave and wonderful lady. It's our privilege to pray with and for you and your family. If we aren't all here to help each other in the best possible way, the way Jesus gave us, why are we here at all?
I heard a wonderful homily on the Lord's Prayer several years ago, all about thinking about each line of the prayer Jesus taught His friends. If we reflect carefully on each line, this priest said, we will truly obtain the benefits of the prayer. This homily totally changed my attitude toward this prayer...we ask God for sustenance, for forgiveness, for charity, for freedom from undue stress, for His deliverance from the grip of Satan...it truly encompasses every single thing we really need.
May God grant you and your family all those things...and may you find peace (and rest!) knowing that we are here for and with you, as you are here for and with us.
I hope you'll always come to this special place for prayer and help. I know how much these lovely people have helped me!
