I'd like to share this novena to the Infant of Prague we're praying for baby Elizabeth:

Prayer to the Infant of Prague
O merciful Infant Jesus! I know of Thy miraculous deeds for the sick. In view of the innumerable graces and the cures granted through the veneration of Thy Holy Infancy, particularly in the statue of Prague, I exclaim with the greatest assurance: O most loving Infant Jesus, Thou canst cure ___ if Thou wilt! This is what I received from my sister (Elizabeth's aunt) this morning.

Tuesday night Elizabeth had improved slightly, but she has been in very bad shape. Her organs had been stablized since earlier on Tuesday, when several organs had not been functioning properly (kidney and liver were enlarged, a valve in her heart that closes at birth had reopened.) So Wednesday, we hoped for some improvement, but there was little change, which was discouraging. She was still in critical condition, but at least not as bad as when she was transported to Pittsburgh. She is on some paralyzing drugs to keep her from moving. She has been on a ventilator and several IVs. She has been baptized, of course and has many people praying for her, so there is hope in God's grace.

Thank you Mary for the update.
I spoke with Justine tonight, she explained that the Dr.'s are treating Elizabeth for RSV, and Septic poisoning. Treating both is complicated, and at this point there are no promises being made. One Dr. said he thought she would live, but as Justine said, they are not giving any promises to the damage that has possibly occured to vaious organs. She said the Dr.'s are VERY honest and that at times is very hard to hear.
As a side note this family has already lived through one daughter being born at 20 wks, spending months in a hospital, and Justine has a sister that has many tragic laet term miscarriages. I share this to please beg you all to pray for these dear people, my heart breaks at the suffering they are asked to endure, they are faith filled people, who always have a smile to share.

My sister sent this tonight regarding Elizabeth:

Still need prayer. David was on his way to bring Justine and Elizabeth home from the hospital, when they called and said they couldn't leave yet. There is something her body is supposed to be producing that it is not. That is really all I know about it right now. David & Justine are really getting worn out and it's been hard shuttling the kids around for people.
