I wrote last week in joke form about my recent need for surgery. Now I am asking for prayers I'm having a difficult time recovering, many complications, and I am getting tired of being sick. I have also been on strong pain meds for 1 week and they scare me, yet if I don't take them I cannot move, the pain is still so bad. I have to go back today and see the surgeon, please pray that this is normal and I will recover quickly. Nice start to Lent I suppose

Oh you poor thing! We have a family joke that God always picks out our Lenten penance. We'll made grand resolutions but something else usually is dealt to us!
