Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Angela,

This prayer forum is such a blessing to me....both when I'm receiving prayers and when I'm offering prayers.

So don't worry about asking for prayers.

Praying for you tonight.

Dawn

You must not be bashful about asking for prayers!

So glad to hear that things are looking up, and praying here.

Angela,

Be sure your iron numbers are high enough...anemia can cause depression! (This is experience and research speaking here. Actually my numbers were normal, but my online research absolutely proved that I had at least a dozen symptoms of anemia, so I started taking iron and within a couple of weeks, all symptoms-including depression-disappeared)

You are in my prayers.

Praying, Angela. (and for your sis Angela too, Esperanza.) Thanks for the tips on iron -- I keep forgetting to take mine.

Angela,

Oh boy, I will offer up my night of coughing babies and kids here for you. I think of you often and ask for God to help you through this pregnancy, and dealing with the twins.

blessings and hugs,

Melanie (off to bed for now )

Angela, I am adding my prayers to everyone else's. It's so hard to be the emotional heart of your family when your dh is gone and you're feeling blue. I'm offering my day up for you today...I had one like it last week...

I wanted to thank everyone again for your prayers. We all made it until Friday afternoon, when we picked up dh at the airport. I wasn't quite sure we were even going to make it out of the driveway, though, because by late afternoon the wind had blown a huge drift of snow across it! My 10 yo dug through half of it, and I did the other half. (Having a tall 10 yo boy around the house comes in handy sometimes!)

Physically I'm still feeling kind of yucky -- better when I've gotten sleep than when I haven't -- but mentally I am doing better. Thank you for reminding me to keep up on my vitamins. I'd been having a hard time swallowing them, so I started taking 2 regular chewable vitamins instead. Not perfect, but I think it's helping. My husband found some much smaller Omega -3 capsules in Arizona and bought me a bottle, too, so hopefully this is a trend toward keeping better nourished!

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that your prayers were felt.

Now checking in since pre-Lent and just saw this. You've had enough prayers ( ) , but I wanted you to know I am praying now and understand how you feel about the always "taking" part. We can't do much for each other, but at least we can *always* say a little prayer if nothing else, and some can even offer up more. So, we ought to ask....but I know what you mean. I would be asking every day, then!

Hope you're feeling better. (I've so related to that: ...don't know how I'll get through this day/week feeling. It's a scary desperate feeling!)

God bless!

Angela, I am grateful you ask for prayers for prenatal depression. I thought I was the only one who ever gets this. Everyone talks about PPD, but for me it is the first Trimester. YOu see your need for prayers has blessed me to know that I am not the only one. And now I get to hear remedies from others that can help if I ever need this info.   You are in my prayers!
