Praying, Jennifer. My mom recently told me that my dad has them, too. My aunt has reoccurring episodes also. It is so hard to know that it can be so painful.

Thank you everyone for your prayers!! My mother is hanging in there...she appreciates all the prayers!...I thought I'd mention one specific request...Mom is a missionary sidewalk counselor and works in front of local abortion centers three days a week. She is unsure of when she will be able to return to work; please pray that they are able to find someone to pray at the abortion sites in her absence.

We'll pray (both for her recovery and for her intention for a counselor to be in her place) - but the suffering of shingles is bound to bring some changes of heart if she offers it up.
