Arggghhhh. We lovingly accept these children, go through the arduous months of gestation, give birth bravely and dramatically and we just so long to enjoy those precious never-to-get-back first days and weeks and months---- and we end up miserable, exhausted, crying, depressed, confused, anxious, agonizing.    It is still such a mystery to me...WHY after everything. WHY can't we just bask in the sheer joy of that baby and our newly defined family? Sigh....the giving never stops. The self-sacrifice and self-oblation continues still....

I have had PPD more than not. I am with you. Hugs and love and prayers---believe me. Hope you feel better soon, find relief, feel the consolations, feel the lightness, not the heaviness of BEING.
