Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Martha, you are always welcome to ask a question, especially when something affects your daughter's feelings, although, at this point, I hope you and all you other dear mothers will forgive me if I ask that we end this thread. My concern is that I fear this discussion may be painful to some of our members, particularly our Protestant friends.

In asking this, I pray that none of the participants to this thread will feel hurt or slighted by my request, because I would not want to hurt any of you for the world!

[If anyone reading this has any insight or advice to help in this situation, please be sure to send a private message. Many thanks.]
