Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

By Way of the Family did call to cancel my order...They did have On Tide Mill Lane in original if anyone needs it.

I've been calling everywhere I can with no luck. Well, I take that back...AlmanzoWilderFarm.com has them but the on-line prices are "outdated" since the books have become "a collector's item." The prices are now $49.99 each.      Sorry, no can do!

Ladies, I'm starting to panic now!

Don't panic! I usually take this approach. I pray to my guardian angel and St. Anthony to direct me to a copy for a good price. I try to keep an attitude "If it's God's Will for me to have it, I'll find it."

Keep your eyes open locally, used book sales, book stores, new and used. Tell your family who live out of state to look in their stores for you.

I totally understand how we get obsessed with something and go nuts to find it-I am that way! But as soon as you give up and resign yourself to being patient (easier said than done!) it will show up.

I hate to say I saw it at Goodwill a week ago and didn't buy it because it was a little beat up and I thought I could find a nicer copy I went back 2 days ago when I realized how valuable it was but it was gone.

There are a few of the old copies (look at the published dates) at Christian Book Distributors. They aren't the rare ones, and I would try to call to verify that they are the older ones.

Is the ISBN the same on the revised editions?
