Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Dawn I just came from your blog and saw your contents
This is so good timeing as my dh just took me out 2 weeks ago to buy a new purse
I went from being a change in the pocket gal to carrying a bag how did that happen ?
I actually used a man's leather wallet for several yrs just as a man would in the back pocket and change in my pocket .
Then I stepped up to a small side bag from guatemala . Then a bigger bag from guatamala the last 5 yrs . However the handle was actually rotting away I'd bought the bag 20 yrs ago in guatamala and it'd been a wall hanging until I decided I needed a bigger urse .
I had two mini photo albums in it two mini screw drivers which I always pull out by mistake instead of a pen . The looks I get when that happens
I had 3 pocket knives and my big swiss army knife as well . Hand cream , kleenex , pocket calender , pen , candied fennel seeds in a container , a really old bandaide
Well my new bag is a small bag from guatamala again . Perfect for my wallet , passport , 1 screw driver , pen , small tinsy hand cream , kleenex & a pack of gum . Thats it .Oh no I forgot I have my rosary in there too
Trying to downsize and simplify again including purses

I am resurrecting this thread as I need a new purse and my beloved old diaper bag has been retired. So now I am trying to figure out whether to get a combination. I tend to like backpacks as I want my hands free. But I will be wearing a wrap and not sure if a backpack will fit over. I have never carried a tote type bag (though I too have been drooling over the Vera Bradleys!!)

Do you just use a large bag/tote and double it as a diaper bag?

For those of you with the Healthy Back bag from LLBean - can this function as a diaper bag too?

Thanks for any advice.

Hey, Marilyn! I replied to your question in the other thread too, but I do use a regular backpack with my moby wrap. It works great.
