Scott and I were married in St. Mary's Church in Simsbury, CT, on May 14, 1994. It was the church he grew up in (and the first Catholic Church I ever attended).

Hey, Lissa! I've been to Mass at St. Mary's! Dh's aunt and uncle live in Simsbury (but aren't Catholic).
How cool...this is a fun thread.

what a fun thread!!
dh Tim and I were married at Franciscan University of Steubenville's Chapel, OH on June 20, 1992.
We all walked to the reception in the cafeteria commons, and took photos of the bridal party in the wooded Portciuncula area (Replica of St Francis's Church which he rebuilt)
friends got married that night in the same Church, so we split the cost of wedding flowers for the Church!!

We were married at St. John's Catholic Chapel in Champaign IL, Jan 03, 1998. Dh had received dispensation from the Bishop to receive Holy Eucharist and Confirmation in December (he was in RCIA) so that he could be Catholic for the wedding.
He completed RCIA and watched as his friends received Confirmation at Easter.

We were also married at St. John's Catholic Chapel in Champaign, IL. We were married on July 29,1995. Fr. Michael Bliss was presider with Fr. Bob Barry assisting. We have such fond memories of the Neumann center there. Two of our children were baptized at St. John's.
We now live in California with our five children.

We married in St. Rita's in West Allis, WI on August 8, 1997.
It is a beautiful church, and I miss it :( I was also confirmed (as an adult) in that church, and we traveled from AZ to WI to baptize our oldest there. (We thought we were moving back to WI at the time, so it made sense to baptize him there.)

Will it be 23 years already this June???
Yes it will!!! We were married on June 21, 1986 at the chapel of The College of New Rochelle, NY. It was one of the 10 best days of the year (weather-wise) and the cocktail hour was outdoors as you left the chapel. It was beautiful, and seems like only yesterday. How can it be we are now planning our daughter's wedding when we still feel like newlyweds??

We were married May 30, 1992 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton Grove, NC. (Two weeks after I had graduated from UNC-CH... couldn't wait any longer!)
Lisa, my folks were married on June 20, 1959... so this coming year is their 50th wedding anniversary... a good day to get married, evidently because my nephew is getting married that day in 2009, also! We'll all be partying big time!

I remember you getting married. We had never met at that point, but mutual friends were there.
Due to the Bishop moving priests often, we had 4 priests for Pre-Cana, and all attended our wedding. Fr. Mike Bliss was the main celebrant. Fr. Bob Barry, Fr. Tom Gibson, and Fr. Greg Josifiak.

we've been married 19 years. we were married at st. paul's in webster, ny. ugly, painted yellow cinder-block, and new-agey (thought that was ok, back then) but it was my family's parish. before it was built, we went to Mass in a room in a party house! I can remember walking past the bar to go to the room!!
Now we attend Our Lady of Victory/St. Joseph's-gorgeous, very faithful to the magisterium.
God bless,
Mary-NY

We were married at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Louisville, KY on March 11, 2000. I received all my sacraments there, although my wedding was a few years after the remodel (flipped it sideways). So, I didn't get the dramatic walk down the long aisle, but it was still very nice.

My husband and I were married at St. Anthony's Mission in King George, Virginia on:
September 19, 1992
Isn't that funny???? I guess that means I am the fourth anniversary so far for that date. It is neat to think of so many other people celebrating their marriage on the same day we are!

It's also the feast of Our Lady of LaSalette (our home parish) and my best friend's b-day.
