You guys bring tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for your prayers and thank you Paula for starting this thread.
I had a wonderful appointment, full of good news for me and our little baby Andrew Joseph (I'll say that here because I'm not going to put in on my blog.)
There has been no change in my cervix since last week, which is amazing because I've been having a lot of pelvic pressure and was worried about that. My blood pressure was excellent, Andrew's heartbeat was perfect and I looked at my doctor with hopeful eyes thinking she'd say, "OK, go about your normal life now. Everything is great!"
Nope! 2-3 more weeks of bedrest for me. It's obviously working. I have to admit that she is right. My contractions did start up after all the activity of going to the doctor. So I'm one foot in bed at all times.
Isn't this what I've always wanted? Time to lay in bed, time to read, uninterrupted computer time? Hmmm... Well, all I can make of it is that sometimes we have to go to extremes to care for our children and how often can you say that you *have* to lay in bed? It's a vacation, right?
But, please light a candle for me and Andrew tomorrow. I'm so sorry to miss the feast.

I missed this earlier but I'm so happy everything looked good Katherine. Enjoy your bedrest as much as one can. 
BTW, I love the name Andrew. My youngest in Andrew James.

That is such wonderful news Katherine! Please try to enjoy your bedrest as much as you can. You'll miss these days when you're running around chasing that little guy!

Katherine, I'll keep you and little Andrew in my prayers while you enjoy your "lady of leisure" status  . I've done the bedrest,medication, steroid routine several times for preterm labor, so I do understand what you're going through . I'll light a candle for you tomorrow!

I'm just seeimg this now, too, but I am so happy to hear your good news! And the beautiful name of that special little boy!
Maybe all these contractions are caused by that baseball cap he was wearing in the picture?

WHEW! I was holding my breath when I read the thread title. SO SO relieved that all is well. Continued prayers for you and your dear son.

I will definitely light a candle for you and Andrew Joseph today in front of the Nativity in our Church. Today is the last day the Nativity scene will be displayed in our Church.

I'm so glad to hear all is well. I only just caught this thread and was sorry I was too late to add my prayers - then remembered I was praying for you at Mass and before the Blessed Sacrament yesterday. I just didn't know the specifics of what I was praying for .
