Good news everyone! I had an U/S today and there was one nice little coffee bean of a baby, right where he/she was supposed to be, with a nice heartbeat of 143! No explanation for all the bleeding, but seeing as it's turned now to only occasional "heavy spotting" they are not particularly worried. I did get a rhogam shot though (yeouch! )
Things look very good right now. The U/S dated me as due Oct 3rd, but I think they are going with my original Sept 29th.
My 7yo will be disappointed that it's not twin boys though .
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers.

Amy....what a relief.
When I saw my little Andrew's heart beating at 7 weeks (we nicknamed this little one Kidney bean, by the way...as in child giving Rosary intention: "I pray for Kidney bean...") I just felt such hope that this one would make it through (after a loss). I hope you do, too.

Three cheers for that precious little "coffee bean"!!! (Great description, Amy!)
Now the question becomes: Will you or won't you need to change your blog title? : )

LOL! I have been thinking about that for weeks! I will at least need to come up with an appropriate "blog pseudonym". This may be harder than a real name!

I've been checking in all day to see how things went! So glad they went well . (Had to laugh about your 7 yo's reaction, too... my 7 yo would probably have a thing or 2 to tell her about twin boys for little brothers! )

What wonderful news!
And I love Jennifer's suggestion of "Laurie" if it's a boy!

Yes, Laurie is perfect! Or maybe "The Laurence Boy" so people don't think he is a fifth girl!
Hmm, perhaps you could even call a fifth girl "Laurie" on the blog! LOL!
