Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We were on a roll with:

boy, girl, boy, girl...and then little Annie, broke the tie and the pattern.

AMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your news just made my day!!!!!!!

So far, at least among our members (as opposed to friends), Kym has the longest row of boys with seven.

Let's see what other rows we will hear about today!

I have girl-girl-girl ... not very long, but at least it is a row .

Wasn't there someone on the CCM loop a while ago who had a girl after 9 boys?

And Leonie ... where are you?

We have 3 boys, girl, boy.

But I had 2 stillborn girls so we would have been 3 boys then 3 girls.

I have girl, boy, boy, boy so far.

My mother was one of four girls, and all three of her sisters had only boys. My mom is the only one who had a daugther. My aunts loved to spoil me!

We have four boys in a row!

Since my husband is from an all-male family of 7...and I have no say in the gender...I'm not foreseeing any girls in my future. Incidently, I come from 6 girls in a row then my "baby" brother. So, I'm just having fun learning how the other half lives!

Maryan, how funny that you have all boys after growing up in that girl family! It makes me laugh to think of my daughters raising boy families! I think they would love it!

This is really funny because I have boy girl girl girl, but most of the mothers in my homeschool group have girl girl boy girl (at least 3 families). One other family has the same as me.

I have girl, girl, boy, boy, girl. With miscarriages on either side of my last boy of unknown gender. So, I guess it COULD have been 4 boys in a row! Hmm...Since I am raising them, do I get to count my 2 grandsons?

We had two boys in a row and then a little girl.
My mom had me and then five boys in a row.
I have a good friend with a boy, then a girl, and then TEN boys in a row.....(when they were little she called them "the ants" as they appeared to crawl all over the place.)

We have boy, girl, boy, boy, boy... but the last two are twins so we got two boys for the price of one. It's too early to tell what the newest one will be yet, but my husband and daughter are praying for another girl. (I think my daughter may actually be praying for girl twins, triplets, or quads, though, just to make up the difference!)

Where is Mary (momwats8)? She has seven boys in a row and a girl on the bottom.

Congratulations Amy!!!

Our first one was our practice child. After him we alternate boy, girl.

So, really, none in row.

We alternate (even including my dh's three kids) starting with a girl and ending with a boy -- so we have 4 of each. When I was pregnant with JP, the kids said he had to be a boy else we'd have to send him back.....

Oh, and I was so excited that I failed to answer the question. As it says in my signature, I have no row at all. GBG. Praying hard that the pattern will be continued in whatever way God wills...
