Katherine,
I am praying a Rosary for you and your precious baby. I will also remember your DH and other children
So much have I enjoyed reading Orientale Lumen! I am a Maronite Catholic who presently attends a Roman Church. But I have had Orthodox "urges" for ever so long.....
Thank you for your lovely blog!
Pax tecum,
Renee

Thank you for offering your Rosary for us, Renee.
I'm thankful that you have enjoyed the blog. I've been praying for discernment to know if it is worth continuing. Comments like yours help me to see that it is.
Oh, and we have a Maronite parish relatively close to us. I've never been, but would love to some day. I've heard that have a fabulous Lebanese food festival. I hope to go next summer.

I completely missed this last week, Katherine. I'll pray now that your baby stay put inside for the time being. And that your other kids are angels for you in the meantime, while on bedrest.

Oh, indeed, Katherine! It is very much worth continuing with Orientale Lumen. Such efforts are vital to mending the breach between East and West, as you will lead several people to understanding through your writings and your experience.

Katherine -
I'm glad you're doing okay *logistically speaking*. You continue to be in my prayers.
Peace,
Nancy

We continue to pray for you, Katherine.
We've been to that Maronite parish once -- years ago on Easter Sunday. It was such a beautiful Mass! I enjoy your new blog too.

So glad you're able to have contact with the outside world with the computer. I can understand about the 3yo. Staying in bed with Mommy lasts only 5 minutes tops for my little guy!

Agree completely!
Praying for you, Katherine, as you "lay down your life" as it was before to benefit another soul.
You can do this

Prayers here, Katherine. Missed this, during our flu bout, I guess. But am praying now!
I was on terbutaline with my oldest ds (every two hours around the clock) from 28-36 weeks. I was fortunate to have no other dc at the time, but laying in bed was quite boring, plus the anxiety and worry. I remember it all so well, 19 years ago!
I was so bored, in fact, I read every book on baby/childcare/labor that I had (I was a nurse in my previous life! ) I even made, get this, flashcards! Yes, flashcards on the stages of labor for my poor dh! That poor man!
I will be praying for you and thinking of you! Praying baby waits his/her (didn't see if you know) time and that you both are healthy.
God Bless,
Stacy in MI
