Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Lisa -

I'll continue praying. I know what you mean about trying to second guess what's *really* going on. There are so many stories and experiences that go either way. It really makes the most sense just to trust God in all of it; sometimes that kind of serenity is very hard to attain with pregnancy hormones confusing your thoughts and emotions.

Peace,
Nancy

Congratulations Lisa. You're in my prayers. I've had early bleeding too, for me bleeding *this* early has had no known cause, and the baby was born healthy. For that particular pregnancy, when the early bleeding stopped, it did not return.

Lisa,

Congratulations! I'm so glad I'm reading this and hearing that your bleeding has stopped. It does sound like we have a lot in common with pregnancy/breastfeeding etc.

I have had 6 pregnancies and bled with all of them around implantation time (10 days). You think I would just notice the pattern and save the money on a pregnancy test!! But same as you with nursing as I do and having my cycles return so early, I figure, "Who knows what normal is??"

But then with three out of my four healthy pregnancies, I had intermittent spotting (no reasons were ever determined) for two months. With my first it was clearly around the times of my periods, but with my second and third, there was no rhyme or reason to it.

With my two miscarriages, I never got sick and my coffee never tasted yucky -- and I just got hard cramps, and just knew both times that I was losing the baby at 8 weeks and 9 weeks.

Now little guy is almost four months and nursing 24/7, but I too take a pregnancy test every month because my cycles (albeit more abnormal than usual) have been back since 5 weeks.

But I'm praying fiercely for you that you are not miscarrying for that has been my prayer to God -- miscarriage is such a hard cross. And it is such a consolation to hear that so many other people have these issues, because I don't know very many people that do around me.

Lisa, Very good news! Has your midwife got you on a herbal tinture? My herbalist specializes in pregnancy, fertility etc. and she talks about a particular tinture she calls "baby glue" if it is a similar thing that sounds like you have a good midwife looking after you.

Oh Maryan! Thank you SO much for your prayers. I am feeling pretty good with how things are going right now. Bleeding has completely stopped, I feel very queasy off and on, my coffee was yuck this morning too! And, I know I sounds obsessive, but another positive pregnancy test this morning!

Thanks for all of the prayers.

My goodness Lisa! It's getting a little freaky how much we have in common!

I'm so glad the spotting has stopped. And we've had many such cases in this house too. And we don't do the blood draw either. Although I do kind of obsess over those pg tests too!

With Bridget I bled off and on, sometimes heavily, and the first 4 pregnancy tests, taken a few days to a week apart, all came back negative. I thought I was losing my mind. Everything turned out just fine, Bridget's beautiful and healthy as could be.

Praying you have just as joyous an outcome!

I'm praying for you, Lisa.

I bled HEAVILY during Joey's preg. But he really is a miracle child. (And born prematurely, after all.) It really does come down to: why do some make it and some don't?------It is all in God's Will and in His Hands, and I find, He often doesn't "follow the rules" of statistics, etc. He just FORCES us to wait on Him and be like a little unknowing waiting child (and wow, can it be a bummer to be in this state of the unknown).

Congratulations on another soul in your family!

NINA!!! How wonderful to 'see' you here! Isn't it amazing how different each one is? Thanks for your prayers.

We are doing quite well. I did go in for the blood draw, 1st was 508, then 48 hrs. later it was 1437, so all is good in that department.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and encouraging words!!
