Thank you, so much, everyone for your prayers. You are all so kind to me.  Bill had a battery of blood tests (including a retest for Lyme) and an EKG which was normal. This Thursday he will wear a heart monitor for 24 hours ... 
Stacy, thank you for remembering about that tick. It turned out it was not a deer tick and had no disease. I was really surprised by that because it was certainly small enough to be a deer tick (though it was engorged). And I completely shredded it getting it off of him, so I'm amazed they had anything to test. 
I will keep you all posted, and I thank you for your continued prayers.

Hello friends, I just wanted to give you an update on Bill.
He wore the heart monitor on Tuesday and that survey, along with all the blood tests was normal. I'm relieved, but we're still concerned about how he's been feeling. He's being referred to an infectious disease specialist as a follow up, so I would appreciate your continued prayers.

Angela, I'm not entirely sure, but I think so. I think Bill is thinking it is the same kind of tiredness and achiness from before, and really, the antibiotics should have taken care of it. I do know for some people it doesn't go right away like that and they have to fight Lyme for years.
I also think he is not entirely trusting of his primary care doctor and really wants a second (and more informed) opinion.

Someone sent me this link when we were concerned about deer ticks. I do not know the woman who owns the blog, but her photos were a real eye opener to us, after experiencing a tick similar on one of our pups this past summer. This is all new to us over in the east. I think the woman lives in MA, and I think you do too??
