Isn't it amazing just how important proper hydration is? I find myself getting more migraines when I'm dehydrated....
I'll keep praying for you.

Dear Nissa
I have been praying for you. I also dreamt about you a couple of nights ago - so I woke and said prayers for you. Whenever I dream or suddenly think about someone, I always pray for them and call/email them.
I am offering up my morning sickness (which pales in comparison to your suffering) for you.

I so appreciate all your prayers and my whole family can feel them at work! I wanted to give you all an update:
I had my knee drained yesterday - 75cc of fluid. I am going for an MRI on January 9th to determine whether I need surgery of any kind. And... I bought a wheelchair today - pretty funky burberry plaid one! It's light enough that my older children can get it out of the vehicle for me if need be. And my handicap plackard is on the way... It's taken me years to even ask for one, and I hated to do it, but Brian insisted.
Can you imagine? He's actually forcing me to go shop. He's nuts!

Nissa,
I haven't been much on the computer so I haven't answered all the prayer requests, but you've been in my thoughts and prayers. And you amaze what you can do with all this pain!

Thanks, Jenn! Really the pain is so much more bearable when I keep occupied and happy. I need to be enthusiastic about life and I've become very very good at doing what I *can* do rather than being glum about what I can't do.
My knee is much relieved after having it aspirated last week. I'm getting around the house unaided, but the chair will be here for outings. I'd be asking for trouble if I tried to walk around a mall or museum. The prayers are helping SO much - I've had considerable relief in my elbow, wrist, and hand. Keep moving so it won't catch me!
I'm also being very focused on my nutrition, which makes a HUGE difference in my disease.
I am scheduled for an MRI next Tuesday to determine damage levels to my knee and whether or not they want to do surgery... And Brian and I are looking seriously at a regime of climatotherapy, but it's expensive. However, there are NO side effects (except to the wallet).
I've babbled enough for tonight, but thank you all so very much for your prayers! My family is being borne up so well - great things are happening!
