My dear friend Ida passed away peacefully in her sleep last night. I was wondering why today, and realized today is the feast of St. Anthony. Well, of course, we belong to St. Anthony's Catholic Church. How wonderful is that! She was the secretary here for many, many years. She loved children and taught CCD and was in the Legion of Mary. She had just finished doing DeMontfort's True Devotion to Mary. She was very well prepared.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

I am sorry for your loss. We are praying for you, Ida and her family.
I had chills reading about her passing away on the feast of St. Anthony and all her involvement in your church. I know he was interceding for her.
