Ladies -

Just wanted to let you know that Mary Ann gave birth last night, 12/21 at 10:58 p.m. to a little girl, Madeline. Her water broke and the doctors discovered that Mary Ann had an infection, so the baby had to be delivered. She is 1 lb, 3 oz. and is hanging in there. Mary Ann is doing fairly well.

Madeline could certainly use our prayers now as she works to develop outside the womb. Mary Ann and her husband could also use our prayers as they watch their baby and pray that she is able to survive.

Thank you all for all of the prayers thus far - Mary Ann has been made aware of them and is very appreciative.

Dear Cindy

I am praying a lot for Mary Ann and Madeline. My heart just goes out to the family. I went into labor at 19 weeks - and with medication and bedrest was able to make it to almost 31 weeks weeks. My (now big and healthy - thank God) preemie twins say special prayers for preemie babies - and we are all praying for Madeline and her parents - remembering how tough the whole NICU ride is.

I hope that you are your little guy are doing well too.
