Just getting to the computer and saw this!
Mary Ellen, we are praying!!!
Mike (now 16) had it when he was 4 mos., and it was so scary. We were in hospital only 4 days, though.

How kind you all have been! I am finally back to the computer. The twins are doing really well, with only the occasional earth-shattering cough distubing the peace. The doctor says the cough will linger for weeks. We were actually able to have a lovely Christmas and Sean was able to play baby Jesus in the pagaent on Christmas Eve. Our pastor accomodated us by reserving a pew for the family and when we were finished being the Holy Family we went straight to ou own pew and were able to keep the twins away fom people. I had Sean in the sling (after my big acting debut as the Blessed Mother) and Bridget slept peacefully throughout the whole Vigil in her car seat. I will post some pictures on the blog later.
Thank you all so much for the prayers and intentions. I know it is what kept us out of the hospital. Dave and I are so very grateful.

Snap! Brian, Louis, and I were the Holy Family this year, too. Ours was more of a comedy since we had to remove our glasses and Brian CAN'T see without them. And I was hobbling like a more elderly version of Mary, and Louis was NOT happy - he completely drowned out poor Dave in our choir who was trying to sing "Mary Did You Know"...
Oh I'm so glad to see you back online and even happier that the babes are doing so much better!
