My daughter is scheduled to be induced today but we have been hit for the past two days with a major snow/ice storm.

All the major roads/freeways are closed but her dh is still planning to try to drive up to Albuquerque.    It is about 50 miles to the hospital. It is normally a 3 hour drive for me but I will not be able to make it because both ways I would take are closed.   

Please pray for clear roads and a very safe trip as well as a safe delivery and a healthy baby.

Well, no baby yet.

They started pitocin around 2pm but by 8 it hadn't really gotten things going so they decided to hold off and try again tomorrow.

Thanks for all your prayers! I am hoping that I *might* be able to drive up there tomorrow depending on the roads.

He is here! Travis Pauley arrived at 11:31 PM MST.      He is 9 lbs 2 oz and 22" long! Elizabeth said he has curly black hair.   

I am heading up there in the morning to see them. I should arrive around lunch time. I will post all the details and pictures on my blog tomorrow evening.
