My father in law is very near death. It has happened a lot sooner than we expected. Tim was at the nursing home with him all night and is now getting a few hours sleep before heading back. Thanks be to God Fr. Bernard showed up at our door last night just as Tim was getting ready to leave so he went along and anointed dad and prayed with Tim.
Some of the siblings did finally come and his sister from Georgia is flying up now and will be here in a few hours.
Please pray for all of them but especially my father-in-law William. His pain meds have been increased but he still seems to be suffering (though we feel that too can be a mercy of God).

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to paste in what the Jesus said to St. Faustina about praying the chaplet for the dying...
"Encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given you (Diary, 1541). Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death (Diary, 687). When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the Merciful Savior"
I realize a lot of people already know about this...but I always try to say a chaplet if someone is dying. What hope and mercy there is in this message!
