Alice we found your blog this week also! Its incredible. I have been toying around with getting those specimen slides also since reading Designing With Photos. I also followed your links to the site with the canvas and slate image transfers and my son is all over those. Welcome to the blog world! Your site is an incredible addition!

my dh is a firefighter and asked me to be sure and teach the boys to sew.. it seems some of the more elite firefighting crews like to make some of their own gear and so sewing skills are highly prized.

Hello Theresa, Kim and Jodie!

Kim, go for the slides! They really are so much fun! And tell your son that I have done a few of the images on canvas and it is very easy. The trick is to print them out on cardstock and use a spray adhesive on both the image and the canvas. (The kids have all been enjoying the baby goat and horse photos on your blog and I am enjoying the sweet baby girl photos!)

Jodie, maybe I should do a boys version. Or better yet, your husband should do it! Seriously!!
