Thank you all for taking the time to pray for this precious family. God is hearing and answering, and I wanted you all to know.
This weekend, the family was faced with the most devestating decision whether to stop life-support and donate Ryan's organs. The team of doctors and surgeons was urging them strongly to "let him go" as the latest tests have revealed extensive damage to his brain.
While the family does have peace with the Ryan's death should that clearly be God's will, they did not have peace about the decision to end life-support right now.
This morning, the head surgeon who worked on Ryan returned from being away this weekend. His response to family was "my team said WHAT??" He felt it completely premature to stop life support, as there is very good brain stem activity, and Ryan is breathing on his own. He is also very strong and healthy, and this doctor thinks that more tests and more time are required before such a decision is seriously considered.
Praise God that He showed the family to wait!! As you continue to pray for a miraculous healing, please pray also that God will mercifully demonstrate that He and He alone holds the power over life and death.

Ryan passed away this morning. It was determined that there was nothing more that could be done medically to help him. He died peacefully with his family gathered. They are holding fast to their faith. I know you will be praying for this young mom and her three precious little ones. Thank you for offering up your prayers.
