Thank you, everyone, who prayed for us.
Steve ended up not being able to go to the party so I drove the kids myself. Even though my dh is the cancer survivor, the doc and staff werer thrilled we still came!
Isabella and Juliana also got up in front of everyone and helped lead the singing of, "Silent Night!" I have to say their courage in this endeavor surprised me somewhat!
Not only that, one of the difficult family members that we saw actually came to the party - the first time ever - and saw an old colleague who's son will be having chemo for the 3rd time. This young man, who's name is Kevin, was 8 years old when diagnosed with sarcoma. He is now 17. Will you please remember him? I look at our situation - with my dh having been givnen 3-5 years to live at the time - and now - he's 39 years old. And here's Kevin...who will begin his 3rd run of chemo. Please pray for him.
After the party, we went to the home of the extremely difficult family members and we had one of the best visits ever. We made blankets for them and they really liked them!
We stayed for dinner and left around 6:00pm to drive back here arriving here at home at 8:00pm.
It was a really wonderful day - yesterday, I was totally zonked!
So, thank you, everyone, very much for your prayers. They were very efficacious and truly, truly, truly appreciated.

I'm realizing alot of my distress was due to a lack of sleep. I really get that way when I don't get enough rest and I feel thorns.
Not to mention, it made me realize how much I need to be grateful.
