Kathleen, any news about your husband's book? Our family has been praying and the kids want to know if he got it back. I hope he did.

Hello Everyone! First of all.... . thankyou all for your heartfelt prayers. DH and I are so thankful. The bad news first....the book and everything else are irretrievable. DH sent the hard drive off to the experts and they declared it a lost cause.

The good news is that after a small period of mourning, my dh is resolute and declares he won't be stopped! He says he is going to recreate the book and that it will be better than ever.

I'm glad to hear that your dh's attitude is great and he is ready to recreate! He has really been on my mind and in my prayers. I asked my husband to also pray for him since my husband has an ongoing writing project of his own.

Now that the period of mourning is mostly over, I'll tell you that besides "soft copy" backups (yes more than 1!) he also occasionally prints out the entire thing.

We'll also continue to pray.
