Cindy just called and they are on their way to the hospital. She thinks she's had about 6 contrax int he last hour, but the kidney stone makes it hard to know what's what. Yesterday's sonogram suggested that the baby (at 35 weeks) is seven pounds. A c-section is planned. She's asked for prayers.

They sent her home. Please keep praying though. These last few weeks with the kidney stone and this HUGE baby are likely to be quite a challenge.

Thank you all so much for lifting me up in your prayers - I am feeling them and trying to hold onto them as I deal with this "extra" pressure during the final days of pregnancy.
I just re-took the 3-hour GTT this morning on the recommendation of my high risk doctor. He told me that when a patient fails the 1-hour test, even if they pass the 3-hour, they want the mother to retake the test around 34 weeks. Seeing as how they were estimating that this "little" man inside me was measuring 7 pounds, 2 ounces at 35 weeks, he was concerned that gestational diabetes might be rearing its head. I should find out the answer sometime tomorrow.
We of course are praying that I don't have gestational diabetes since that would just add one more layer to this poor baby's first few days of life. He is currently going to have to undergo methadone treatment to come off of the Vicodin that I have been taking since Sept. 21st. Poor little man 
I will be 36 weeks this Thursday. Friday I have to have a biophysical profile to check on him and his growth related to the use of the Vicodin. I'm hoping to have some answers soon.
When I feel good, I know that I can make it another 3 weeks. However, on those days that the pain just gets too bad, I don't know how I'm going to make it. I just want to let everyone know what a wonderful friend Elizabeth is. She really keeps me grounded and has been doing everything to help me try to stay focused on the end and having this beautiful new life in my arms.
Thank you for all of your prayers. I will keep you posted as I learn more. Bless all of you for keeping me and this baby in your prayers.

We will definitely continue to pray. I am so sorry you are dealing with all of this. What an amazing blessing it will be when you can finally cuddle and enjoy your new little bundle.
