Oh my goodness!!! What fantastic news!!! Mother and baby are unbelievably beautiful (as is the big sister!) I just love all those joyful photos of your new little one, and her hand and feet pictures are so precious.

Baby Clara is doing great. She is an enthusiastic little nurser. We are spending lots of time cuddling and napping together. Her big sisters are just enthralled with her and love to take turns holding her. Daddy is so proud to have another little girl...he has spent the last few days writing her birth story from his point of view...check it out here.
I went into labor on the evening of Thanksgiving Day. We were trying some homeopathics to get labor started and my water broke! I had also prayed a Rosary before we started the homeopathics, so whether it was divine intervention or the homeopathics that got things started isn't clear! I started having contractions not long after my water broke. I also noticed there was some meconium in the water, so we left for the hospital pretty soon after my water broke. After about 4 hours of labor, Clara Joy was born at 12:44 am on November 24th. She didn't have any problems with the meconium...her Apgar scores were good and she pinked up right away. The birth was great...for my first time back in the hospital after 2 homebirths, I was very pleased with the way everything went.
I came down with the cold I've been fighting for the past few days the day after the birth, so recovery has been a little tougher with this one. But dh is off work for 2 weeks and taking good care of me. Thank you for your prayers, especially through the last few weeks of this pregnancy. I can't tell you how relieved I was when my water broke and contractions started! God is good!

Hi Dawn,
What a great story. Thanks for sharing. I tried to read the comments, etc. but I kept getting "an unexpected error occurred." 
I did notice a small error in the story even though I wasn't there,  he listed her birthdate as 7/24/06 . Isn't it 11/24/06 or am I WAYYYYY behind?
