Thank you to all you dear, beautiful friends!
The neurosurgeon gave Eileen a clean bill of health this afternoon, saying she looks neurologically wonderful and that the unjoined plates in her head are still considered "normal." In other words, he pretty much had the exact response I was praying for (ie, Take that healthy child out of here, and don't ever come back.)
He was also extremely kind, saying we could call any time with questions and reacted with admiration when I told hime she is the seventh child.
In other words, the effects of your prayers were felt!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear friends. As I walked to my car afterward, all I could think about was how fun it would be to let all of you know everything is OK!!!
