Can I ask you all for prayers again for my dh, Rick? We spent the night in the ER and then at about 3am or so he was transported to the main hospital in the area and is awaiting surgery. I'll be headed back over as soon as I can.
His gallbladder is heavily damaged and infected. And despite being told that this is a fairly routine laproscopic surgery, he is so nervous. Our pastor has already been over so he's had confession and annointing. Rick is also so sad about little Betsy's death and is trying to be inspired by their faith and offer his suffering for the Brutons.

Praying. It WILL go well. I've had the surgery. Recovery took longer for me than they said it would. There is no such thing as minor surgery. He'll feel so much better after that gall bladder is gone.

We will be praying. And just to give you a little comfort, Molly, my sister had the exact same emergency surgery a few months ago and everything went just fine. Please keep us updated.
