My heart is aching for you. Your friend is right, go to Mass or simply go into your church and sit in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Three years ago, I found out that I had miscarried (from my doctor ~ I hadn't suspected anything). By the Grace of God, we had adoration that night. I sat in front of the Blessed Sacrament and cried and implored God to give me back my baby, to make the doctor wrong, etc. Eventually, I cried and prayed and prayed and prayed. I found that God was my biggest consolation. Nothing anyone said to me helped me. Sitting in front of the Blessed Sacrament was the best thing that I could have done. May Mary wrap her mantle around you!
