Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Okay, I have been putting off updating this prayer request all morning. It is just hard to type this.

I started cramping last night and the bleeding continued to increase. I spoke with my midwife this morning and she said that I could stay home unless I begin to hemorrhage.

I am thankful for your prayers.
Blessings,

Oh Kristina: We are so sorry and are praying. Is it possible for someone to totally take over the household and chores for you so you can just rest? We are certainly remembering you in prayer.

We are very grateful for all of these prayers. It is a great comfort.

Janet, you are so thoughtful. I have rested much of the day today. Our children have been especially helpful. Our older ones make sandwiches and get drinks. They already play by the "no food until the dishwasher is unloaded" rule. Laundry is under control for the time being.

My husband is a sweetheart and he is bringing home pizza and subs (roast beef to replace iron for me). After ending up in the e.r. when I miscarried in March, I am trying to be conscious of nutrition - drinking lots of water and juice, small healthy snacks.

I have cleared my outside schedule for the rest of the week. My mom is taking our younger two out for a "Nana Date" for the day tomorrow. Our older ones will not mind a very light school week.

Again, I am so thankful for being lifted up in prayer by all of these beautiful families.

Blessings,
