We were gone yesterday and have been playing catch up this morning. Jenn, I'm SO glad you're okay! What a scary thing to go through, especially not knowing if it will happen again. Praying for answers and peace about the future, and that this won't happen again.

Jenn - I am soo glad you are home. Another thought may be anxiety attack except you say you are not under stress? May help. these things are scary. It took over 6 months after my dh's strokes for them to figure out why he 2 of them and one right after the other. I am happy to hear you have a follow up appointment. Keep us posted and I 'll still be praying for you.

A couple of thoughts. I have PVCs (preventricular contractions, meaning my heart doesn't exactly beat in rhythm) and a heart murmur, which no one caught until I was being prepped for a D&C  . The murmur and the PVCs combine sometimes to give me a little chest pain, maybe a little tingling in my arm, and shortness of breath if I'm exerting myself. These are all made worse by caffeine, most cold meds, and asthma medication (which I sometimes have to take.) When I gave up caffeine and was off all meds, both these conditions were barely detectable. When I have to have a hit of my inhaler, my heart sounds like a skipping record. When I get nervous or I'm under stress (or pregnant) they get worse, too.
I've been praying for you today as well. Hope the follow-up appointment will help to clear things up!!

I am just discovering this thread! - but it is obviously not to late to pray that answers will be found and that you have no more attacks - and you will have those prayers!!

I have just seen this thread - and I am so sorry for your ordeal. I have a candle lit for you and will be praying for you.
I had a similar thing happen about a year and a half ago - the doctors never really figured it out and it was attributed to allergies! (But not before I had been tested for lots of scary possible things)

Thank you everyone again for all the prayers. I can't begin to express how much it means to me, having the support and love. This whole incident was beautiful in showing how thankful I should be for the many blessings in my life.
I am so grateful for my family living so close by so that they can help me at any minute. They all watched my son, came to visit, picked up my husband. took care of everything (to Fuzzy posting for me ). And everyone that came across my path that helped me along the way: the people at the grocery store, the EMTs, the hospital personnel, the priests that came. Everyone so caring and giving...definitely prayers of thanksgiving for all.
I go to the doctor's today at 11:30 for a follow-up with my family doctor. It would be nice to know what happened (that may be asking too much)... please pray that the Holy Spirit can guide him.
Also, my little guy is very sensitive and a bit worried. He took it in stride the day of the emergency, and we spent all yesterday together (with lots of hugs) at home....little bits and pieces come out and I can tell he is concerned about what happened. Having me go to the doctor AGAIN could be worrisome.
