I went to wipe last night and there was some blood but nothing since, thanks be to God, just a brown stain this morning. I'm 11 weeks. Have any of you had bleeding and continued pregnancies without complications (placental or otherwise)?

Dear Nina,
I am saying a prayer. And maybe go in for a mdwife/doctor check?
With son number three I had off and on bleeding for the first four months of pregnancy - but no other problems or complications.

Okay, thanks for writing, Leonie. That's comforting. I'm going to (hopefully) wait to go in until new insurance kicks in November 1st. Never a good time for us to be in-between medical plans!
Of course, Joey made it through lots of bleeding, but "barely". It was tough to be bleeding and down the whole time, and have a preemie. But God's will be done.
God bless you.

Nina,
I am 16 weeks along, and have been "spotting" for about three weeks. I had a sonogram and everything is fine with the baby, but I guess I have a low lying placenta, and this can cause bleeding. The doctor said not to worry that it almost always moves by the half way mark of the pregnancy. I will pray for you, and your little one.

Thank you so much, Glenn.
See (talking to myself )--- I knew it wouldn't be dorky to post this ...already my confidence is boosted. !!!
May you have a blessed rest of pregnancy...you'll be in my prayers, too.

Nina, I experienced bleeding with dss 1, 2, 4, 5(so heavy that I was certain I was miscarrying and sat and cried during the blessing that was on Mother's Day for the expectant moms- he was born 6 months later, and was just fine!,) and 6. Of course I worried terribly with each episode. I do have to add that dss #5 was a partial pp, and I bled a LOT when I went into labor. Once my ob ruptured the membranes, the bleeding went away.
I am praying for you!
God Bless,
Stacy in MI

Nina -
I had bleeding at 18 weeks with #4, same as Glenn, due to low-lying placenta. Also had spotting at 5-7 weeks with same child. Early spotting also with #5 child. I was scared to death every time, but those two are now 17 and 14, so I think it all turned out just fine Really, I do understand your worries and it is crazy-making. I'll continue to pray for you, both for a wonderful, full-term pregnancy and for peace of mind and heart in the immediate.
Peace,
Nancy

Stacy, Thank you for sharing your many experiences with bleeding. And it sounds like it was around this time...the taking over of the placenta. I truly appreciate it.
Love and prayers back!

I lost baby number 6 at 18 weeks. Interestingly both my mum and grandmother lost baby number 6s too.

I'm so sorry, Erin. That is late. It is so hard to understand....
Thank you for sharing your experience here.
I think you are blessed to have a mother and a grandmother who were even willing to have #6! You come from good stock!
God bless you!

Nina, I've been praying for you each day. I bled with Molly heavily around 8 weeks for about 3 days. Totally unexplained, just bleeding, no cramping. I have been bleeding heavily for the past 3 days here, lots of clots and cramping. I think we've lost this little one ourselves. I am 8 weeks. I am so glad we spared our children.

I've had bleeding with three of my four successful pregnancies. Low lying placenta with one, no explanation with the others. My doc said it was quite common!

Oh, Lisa.
I have been praying! Just last night, I was praying for you and thinking about you. I put you in St. Gerard's hands....oh, I am so, so sorry. I'm so sad for you. I'll offer up my day for you!
Let me know how you are...?
