Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Congratulations, Sara! Your guardian angel must have been trying to tell you something when you came up with this idea.
I'm expecting our fifth-have had three miscarriages in a row after our fourth was born so I'm still hesitant on accepting that I'll make it. It was at about this time that I've lost the previous three. Prayers would be greatly appreciated and know that I'll be saying some for you too.

Adoption has always been synonymous with delays for us. If the agency says 5-8 weeks for something, I usually think that means 8-10 and so on. In September, they gave me three sets of time frames. When I added up the longest possible, that put our adoption concluding around late January/early February.

But, I just received news that things are moving forward and we'll probably have our baby home by Christmas. I can only attribute this to prayer.

[We could still have some further delays, but the most recent delays have been cleared up.]

Thank you very much for your prayers.
