Alice, I'm assuming your camera works again? Or did you have to buy a new one? My little Issac accidently dropped my camera into my coffee yesterday. (the coffe had cream and sugar in it too!!) I really hope it's not done for. It was a gift from my FIL a few months ago. I'd hate to have to tell him this.

Put it in a plastic baggie with rice with as much out of it as possible. My daughtr's cell phone fell in a creek and we put it in a plastic bag with rice and 3 days later the phone worked. Good luck!

Hello beautiful friends! I cannot believe I did not update you on the state of that camera. I let it dry out (taking the advice of Michele and others), and, miraculously, it works almost perfectly. I can no longer delete pictures or video on the camera itself, but need to do empty the memory card completely through my card reader, but otherwise it is fine.

Your prayers worked and I never thanked you! Forgive me, dear friends!

Lisa, I will pray that your camera is OK after its dunk. Please let us know!
