Believe me, I can sympathize! But every time the whole situation as I saw it, especially in terms of the *practicalities*, made completely no sense, things worked out in a far better way. Praying for peace, patience, and a wonderful delivery.

I was almost 2 weeks late w/ my last baby...2 weeks after my midwife had told me that she was sure I would deliver withing a week b/c my cervix was so soft...  It was a long wait, but everything turned out fine. 
You are in my prayers!

Oh Elizabeth, I've been on pins and needles waiting to read a labor update ever since your "eight days to go until my due date" posting (the one about being sick)...I will pray for strength and confidence for you no matter what happens this week...and I hope that baby comes SOON!! Hang in there. We're all thinking about you.

I am sorry to have misled you, St Therese feast is not a solemnity (St Theresa and St John of the Cross are) therefore Sunday take priority over her feast. Hence the readings for today (I am referring to the morning and evening prayers of the Liturgy of the Hours) are not the ones I linked. I should have checked my Carmelite calender. Of course you can use the prayers to St Therese anytime.

Traditionally, St. Therese's feast day is October 3rd...
Praying and hoping it'll be soon and all will go well for a sucessful VBAC.
I am always 9 days late no matter what. I told my children if EVER I have a baby on time or a few days early that baby will be my favorite child!

The kids and I have been praying for you every night. We continue to pray. With my first, I was a week late and my dh was scheduled to be deployed in two weeks. It was very difficult to wait, but ds came the very next day and we were able to spend two weeks together as a family before he left. I know your anxiety.

I had my membranes ruptured with Laurence. He was very late (he was due April 26 and was born May 8). It was all I needed to get labor started and then everything went fine.
