Dear everyone
Please would you pray today for me - this morning I had an accident - I knocked my mug of tea off the kitchen counter and I received bad second degree burns on my leg, hip and stomach. The good things are that all my kids were sitting down at the table and nobody was near me. The other thing was that my husband was home so we got to Emergency quick. The pain is almost unbearable and I will not take narcotics as I react badly to them. I am taking Motrin. Please pray for the pain and that there will be no infection or dreadful scarring. Also - we have been praying for another blessing and if I am expecting please pray that everything will be ok. I do not usually take pain killers but the pain is so bad.

Chari and others can tell you some good homeopathic things to take for your pain - I'm sorry, I wish I knew off the top of my head what it would be.

Praying for you, Marilyn. Ouch....very scary, too.
An entire mug of hot coffee was knocked over across a table and burned my 2nd son's thigh when he was 8 months old. I remember it clearly because we were visiting Monterrey. We prayed to St. Joan of Arc and it was almost miraculous how he healed---the docs couldn't believe it. Will pray to her for you.
May God use your suffering for something powerful.

Erica, I was just thinking about the homeopathic remedy......... you obviously know me 
Marilyn, I am so sorry. I will pray for you to heal quickly.
If it were me, I would take the homeopathic remedy "Cantharis 30x or 30c" ...........my book says at 15 minute intervals until there is pain relief.
You should not have reaction to these except a decrease in pain and it will not hurt any growing baby. I cannot explain much more, I am going out of town in less than an hour. Maybe Tammy or Robynn can answer any questions you have about homeopathy.
This has always decreased any pain to anyone I have given it to for burns. I have never tested it for severe burns........but my book says to use it for "severe cases"
If you do get pain relief, stop taking it. Repeat doses if the pain returns.
You can get this at any full service health food store. If you have any trouble getting it.........let someone know and we can get some to you........or find it online.

Cringing at the thought  and heartily praying! 
My Kate had a cup of soup accidentally spilled onto her back a few years ago.  The ER gave her a topical cream to put on it. It helped with the pain and helped fight infection. I am sorry I can't recall what it was.

My now 3 yo son spilled hot tea on his foot 2 years ago. They put a topical anesthetic on it to help with the pain (sadly, he still needed codeine for the day). He's healed beautifully and you'd never know he'd been burned.

Oh Marilyn! Ouch!(and then some).
I think the cream someone else was thinking of is probably silvadene. Also you might apply lavendar essential oil, which is great for healing burns. But I'm also guessing the ER told you not to put anything on it, which is the First Aid advice for burns, unless, of course, they are the ones who gave you something for it; so, mainly, you should follow your doctor's advice.
BUT - you didn't post asking advice, but prayer.
Of course I will include you in my prayers.
