I have goosebumps and am shaking right now with joy!
All of the words of wisdom, the words of encouragement and support, the rallying behind me and sisterly exhortations to PUSH through and believe in His plan.... I just don't know how I can thank you all---I wish I could thank each of you in person. I need these prayers, and so I humbly accept them. I'll let you know how we're all doing. 
Know that my prayer for each of you is my gift back to you.
And Helen, Stacy, Nancy, Sharie, Amy, Willa, Donna Marie, Caroline, KC, Lisa, Robynn, Janet, Krisann, Donna, Stef, Patty, Taffy, Alice, Bridget, Leonie, and Jennifer.....THANK YOU, TOO,  with mucho love.

I am overjoyed for you!!! I too am crying for you, with joy! I understand the 'scary excitement' of a positive pregnancy test coming at a 'not so good' time. You have always lifted me up with your positive and encouraging words. I will pray for you ~ on my knees mama!!

Ladies,
In this thread, Nina shares her unique challenges and the lonely cross she carries. I don't think it's a coincidence that her announcement comes in the same week as this
happy news from the only other mom of large family we could think of who carries a similar cross.

Thank you Erica, Marie, and Mary for praying, too.
I feel so weak. I have absolutely no strength. At moments, I honestly don't know how my body is going to be able to take this. But if it doesn't...it doesn't, right? God knows. Mostly, I think my other children are the ones who need the prayers---especially the younger ones who need a strong mother.

Holding you and your family up in prayer, Nina.
Knowing how weak you are and that there is little we can do (outside of prayers) breaks my heart. You are indeed a "suffering servant" right now, but I hear the dividends are "out of this world".

Nina-
Maybe it was already mentioned, but September is the month of the Sorrowful Mother. I think clinging to her sorrows helps so much. One of them was Simeon's prediction and the anxiety she carried about the future must have been huge.
Nina, you have given me courage. You are so strong!!!!! I get so afraid to be pregnant soon, probably in the near future, and I don't have your cross.
Our Lady probably also felt like extended family looked down on her with her decision to be pregnant, since they didn't understand the truth. Hang in there!!!!!

Praying, praying, praying...I will add you to my parent's prayer list when they get back from vacation. They are HUGE prayer warriors. My Mom always said she needed to retire to have more prayer time. 
I am (trying hard) to offer up my adoption woes for all the wonderful ladies on this list who need prayers. Nina~you are wonderful person~thank you for showing us all such faithfulness and gentleness.

Prayed for you at Holy Mass this am - the feast of the TRIUMPH of the Cross - sounds like an oxymoron but its the crux of our faith.
When fear gets out of control and feels like a big huge tidal wave threatening to wash over me and drown me I just pray 'Jesus, I trust in You' over and over and I picture the power of those words literally halting and pushing back that wall of fear. I remember a time I was in the Adoration Chapel shortly before my daughter's open heart surgery, and I was getting pretty scared, and I just looked up at the crucifix and the thought came to me - how could you not trust Someone who would do this for you?
It also helps to thing of the Holy Father and how often he repeated those simple words, Be Not Afraid.
I wil continue to pray for you.
