Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I also remember my ds at that age loving a child-sized car with steering wheel (powered by his feet, not batteries). He would pretend to drive places. You can sit in a chair and still pretend with him. Pretend to send him to the store for milk, etc.

I think Little Tykes used to carry them-not sure now.

Funny you should mention this. Last night he drove his tricycle around the porch, stopping to run errands. Each spot was a different place. I love it when his imagination is engaged like this. But it was hard to hear the reality of Mommy's world -- "Oh, I forgot to get bananas and oatmeal, I'll have to go back to the grocery store!"

Oh, that's cute. I love that pretend play. I have a 3yo girl right now and I walked down the hall the other day and noticed she had her bedroom door shut. I peeked in and she had an elaboate tea party going with stuffed animals at every seat and a piece of (plastic) food for each. So cute!
