Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Or is just me and my computer? (www.4reallearning.com) I've tried everything. I wanted to get at that "jump start guide", so to speak that Elizabeth wrote. I started reading it, was going to print it out and thought - how silly, it's on the web. Now, I can't reach it...

This could be a big deal. I thought I renewed the domain name on Monday. Apparently there was a glitch. Prayers that we didn't lose the booklist and links would be appreciated. Can't do anything until MacBeth returns to her computer....

And here's a copy of the
main page

LOVE that way back machine. Saved my behind when the MA site went down once.

God bless,

Thanks Michele! That's really helpful, particularly since no one answers the phone at the domain name registry.

And Dawn, all things technical are not my gifts...

I'm looking at this site (something I clearly don't do very often) and a lot of it is pretty old (dated?). Maybe this would be a good opportunity to update it. Or should I just move things to my blog (yeah, right because I'm so technically savvy) and have everything in one place?

What works for you and what would you like to see?

It would be less confusing to people new to your work to have everything in one place. Does some of that belong to MacBeth? The jump start piece? It really is good together.

All the stuff at 4reallearning is mine. The jumpstart piece came from a talk I did six years ago.

You want to see old and dated? Check out these pages from
1999
and
2001

That would actually be quite easy to do. Make a new page on your blog and simply cut and past from the old site and all your links should stay linked (hopefully).

God bless,

Oh, fun! a trip down memory lane.

Did this page have a picture of the Martin family (a drawing by Celine Martin)? It's showing a red X now.

I remember that picture. It's the page that sent me to the eloop and my mothering/family/schooling/personal life was forever changed.

Can you say "blog maternity leave"? There are three weeks or so of posts already written...

The 1999 page isn't archived anymore. Bummer. I was really interested in meals made easy. Something tells me it had to do with the fact that I was cooking for four small children instead of seven larger ones .

Cay,
I'm so glad my procrastination is bearing such fruit . It is fun to remember. Michele, how many babies ago was that? I was pregnant with Stephen (who was named on the CCM list), so that's four for me...

Many of the stuff would be new to some of us, or a nice refresher. That would be nice to have all those posts all ready, each at the top saying "While on maternity leave and experiencing our babymoon, I'm providing some posts from the archives...." This would really satisfy the nesting instinct, IMHO.

1999. I think that was the year I joined. Right after Blaise was born. I never posted though. Too scared.

Yes, I can. But it's so much nicer to have it spoon-fed one at a time, and then refer to it all in one place.
