Sorry I haven't updated until now, first there was no news and second, I have been helping Christine, so no time.
Greg's surgeon got the flu and could not perform the surgery, but they kept telling Christine that they were taking him in without telling her why it was taking so long, so finally this afternoon, they performed the surgery. Everything went as it should, but they are keeping him sedated because they are going to perform a second operation tomorrow morning. If you remember he broke is neck, when that happened, they took him to our local hospital and the doctor put a halo on him. The surgeons down at USC have told Christing that his neck would never heal enough to hold up his head, one of his vertabrea is crushed. They are going to go in and replace it with bone and rods and pins. They told Christine that this is what they would have done right from the beginning.
So, please pray for the surgeon's and the surgery again tomorrow. They are slow, so I can't give you an exact time.
Thank you again for all your prayers, it is helping Christine, Greg and the whole family.

My goodness, how awful and so glad he's finally getting proper treatment. God be with him, his family and doctors. I'll be praying.

I just talked to my friend Christine, she was on her way home for the hospital. Greg does not have any recpetive language processing ability. She asks if we can pray that it will return. While talking to her tonight, she was asking totally different than she normally does. Normally, she jokes around and laughs quite a bit. Tonight is was dead pan serious. She sounds very scared and worried. Please pray for her as well. And thank you for all your prayers for this family.

I talked to Christine tonight and she said Greg is 95% better, yeah, you ladies are awesome. Thank you all for your prayers, he is going home on Tuesday, the family is so excited.

Thank you God! I will offer more prayers for his continued healing - and prayers of thanksgiving. Thank you for letting us know - I always look to see what has happened with the folks who have requested prayers - and if no news, I offer another Hail Mary at that time so it is always so wonderful to hear.
