Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

As for the accreditation thing, that doesn't fuss me so much...afterall, my children are graduating from a "non-accredited" highschool (GASP)

He is as far as I can recall, Mormon... and most of the TJED groups out there are also Mormon... BUT they are very nice, just don't discuss religion with them because you will disagree with them!
That being said, his philosophy is quite sound, and I really need to pick up on the self-ed. My Dh is considering learning Latin too... although he is currently learning a new programming language, which he has been sharing with DS at the request of DS
Right now all my self-ed has been on homeschooling and incorporating the rhythms and art of Waldorf, with some of the Montessori activities for DD so she has 'something' to do during school (HER request... she was some 'school' to do ).
I still maintain the 'TJEd' bookcases... DD's is a mess while DS's is neater, but not organized!

I've been hosting A Thomas Jefferson Education Carnival for the last few months. The most recent edition went up today.
